Introduction

Group Yurt Glamping Bookings

We are more than happy to welcome groups of all sizes to our Hidden Valley site. We have 5 yurts which sleep up to a maximum of 26 people and The Lake House which can sleep up to 4, providing a maximum number of 30 people across the whole site.

We have many large groups that stay with us, including for birthdays, family holidays, or other celebrations, as well as walking groups, wildlife lovers, photography groups, teambuilding groups, and those on a tour of the local area.

Glamping Holidays for Large Groups

Our glamping site and holiday home are ideally suited for a group looking for accommodation. Depending on your group size and sleeping arrangements, you could, for example, hire two yurts for up to 12 people or all five for up to 26 people. The combination of accommodation types is up to you, and we are happy to make recommendations and accommodate your group as best we can.

Whole-site bookings are, of course, available, too, and having the whole site to yourself is a pretty special experience, we have to say! We have large communal areas, including our campfire, outdoor dining areas, fields for games, and loads of decking, that are ideal for a whole-site booking.

We are ideally situated for complete isolation from the outside world for your group stay, yet are within easy reach of bustling towns, Wye Valley attractions and there are plenty of activities to take part in too. See our Out & About page for more information about what there is to do in the area. We also have an On Site Activities page with information about activity providers who can come to you! Perhaps an archery lesson for your group, or how about on site catering from a local chef? We’ve also got bushcraft, guided walks, pamper treatments and more. Speaking of pampering we also offer hot tub hire if you are keen on maximising your relaxing. Within a short walk or drive are a great range of pubs and restaurants as well as incredible tourist hotspots along the Wye Valley such as Tintern Abbey and Chepstow Castle.

We can cater to your needs and requirements throughout, please contact us to discuss your group booking with us.

LARGE GROUP YURT CAMPING BOOKING RULES

We love welcoming guests to enjoy their luxury glamping holidays at our glamping site at our family-run farm. Whether it’s a special occasion, a break to enjoy the great outdoors, or just chilling (did we mention we offer exclusive hire of hot tubs), we value all our guests’ happiness. We accept many large groups of people at Hidden Valley Yurts, but we ask that you read the following to ensure that you and the rest of our guests enjoy your stay. So, if you are in a group and are planning your Welsh adventure with us then please keep in mind the following stipulations.

We are a small family-run site at our friendly working farm location, and we take great care in ensuring all of our guests have a carefree, peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Unlike most glamping sites, we don’t ban group glamping by large groups or single-sex groups, including hens and stags. However, we can only accommodate those who want to enjoy what we have to offer, i.e., a quiet rural location with lovely walks and outdoor activities.

Noise:
We do not allow any amplified music (this includes radios, ipods with speakers, karaoke machines etc) across the whole site. Sorry, but although once you are in the yurt field, it seems to be in the middle of nowhere, any noise rolls up the valley sides and we are very keen not to intrude on the peace of the valley and to keep all of our guests happy.

As well as not allowing amplified music we also don’t allow loud partying. Acoustic guitars and singing campfire songs around the fire is fine. We hope this doesn’t sound too off putting – we’ve had lots of really lovely adult groups staying here! Once inside the yurt the thick felt lining will block most sounds, but there is a noise curfew at 10.30pm every night.

Damage/Noise Deposit:
From experience, we have found that when we have let the site to large groups, there has been an increase in damage and excess cleaning has been required. We, therefore, charge a deposit of £100 per yurt. This will be returned within 7 days of the end of your holiday, provided there is no damage or excess cleaning required.

If you are a large group, we ask you to sign a form confirming you have read and understood our ethos and agree to our terms. Please return this form to us with your reservation – by snail mail or email – sorry, we don’t have a fax machine.

You can download the form, here.

We hope this provides you with sufficient information but if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. We really are very friendly and just want everyone to have a good time!

Please also read our Terms and Conditions – booking with us confirms your acceptance of these.
