Hidden Valley Yurts is easier to find than our name might suggest! The Yurt campsite is located in a small and beautiful valley on the borders of south Wales, close to the glorious Wye valley (southern section) and between the Welsh border towns of Chepstow and Monmouth.

For those of you with Sat Nav you might want to make a note of the directions listed below the map. The last bit of your journey might fox even the very latest technology.

From M4 West

• Leave M4 at Junction 24 and take 1st exit (A449).
• After 7 ¾ miles exit onto A472, signed to Usk
• Immediately after joining dual carriageway turn right onto B4235, signed to Chepstow
  • Note - this junction comes within 300yds of joining the dual carriageway
• After 1 mile, in Gwernesney, fork left, signed to Llansoy
• At crossroads, after 1 ¾ miles, continue straight over (signed Monmouth).
• After ¾ mile turn right, signed to Llangovan.
• Continue for 2 miles, and as you bear left after Llanvair Farm the road goes uphill.
• At the next sharp bend to the right, take the track ahead of you into Lower Glyn Farm, going along the track to the Yurt Car Park.

From M5 South West

• Leave M5 at Junction 18A and after 5 miles join the M4 and cross the new Severn Bridge.
• Leave M4 at Junction 24 and take the 4th exit (A449) signed to Monmouth.
• After 7 ¾ miles exit onto A472, signed to Usk
• Immediately after joining dual carriageway turn right onto B4235, signed to Chepstow
  • Note - this junction comes within 300yds of joining the dual carriageway
• After 1 mile, in Gwernesney, fork left, signed to Llansoy
• At crossroads, after 1 ¾ miles, continue straight over (signed Monmouth).
• After ¾ mile turn right, signed to Llangovan.
• Continue for 2 miles, and as you bear left after Llanvair Farm the road goes uphill.
• At the next sharp bend to the right, take the track ahead of you into Lower Glyn Farm, going along the track to the Yurt Car Park.

From M4 East

• After M4/M5 junction (M4 Junction 20, M5 Junction 15) follow M4 West towards Wales
• Take next Junction (21) to M48, towards Chepstow
• After Severn Bridge exit at Junction 2 towards Chepstow
• At Roundabout after 1 mile, go straight over, signed to Chepstow Racecourse
• At Racecourse roundabout (1 mile), turn left towards Devauden.
• After 4 ¾ miles bear left at Devauden Green.
• Continue for 4 ½ miles and turn left opposite Llanishen Garage (after the Carpenters Arms)
  • Check your milometer here - you are exactly 1 mile away!
• Bear right after ¼ mile, go past the church, and keep bearing left and plunging downhill.
• Immediately after Glyn Farm (on right), the road turns sharp left. The track on the right is Lower Glyn Farm. Go right along this track to the Yurt Car Park.

From M50 - Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth

• Leave M50 at Junction 4 (End of Motorway) and follow A40 towards Monmouth
• At Monmouth continue over roundabout to by-pass the town, towards Newport
• ½ mile after traffic lights turn left (before tunnels)
• After ¼ mile turn left at T-junction
• Continue for ½ mile, and turn left towards Trellech and Chepstow on the B4293
• Follow this road for 4 ½ miles to Trellech, and continue for another 2 miles to Llanishen
• Turn right opposite Llanishen Garage (before the Carpenters Arms)
  • Check your milometer here - you are exactly 1 mile away!
• Bear right after ¼ mile, go past the church, and keep bearing left and plunging downhill.
• Immediately after Glyn Farm (on right), the road turns sharp left. The track on the right is Lower Glyn Farm. Go right along this track to the Yurt Car Park.

From A40 West – Abergavenny

• Follow A40 to Raglan
• At Raglan roundabout take 3rd exit into Raglan village
• At Raglan Church turn right.
• Continue for 2 ¾ miles to crossroads
• At crossroads turn left, signed to Monmouth and Pen-y-clawdd
• After ¾ mile turn right, signed to Llangovan.
• Continue for 2 miles, and as you bear left after Llanvair Farm the road goes uphill.
• At the next sharp bend to the right, take the track ahead of you into Lower Glyn Farm, going along the track to the Yurt Car Park.
