Group Camping Holidays and Celebrations

Unlike most yurt campsites we don’t turn away groups of single people and that includes hen parties and stag parties. However, we need to make it clear that we are primarily a family camp site and are only able to accommodate groups who want to enjoy our quiet rural location with lovely woodland walks, outdoor activities like canoeing and mountain biking and relaxed evenings chatting around a camp fire.

Because noise rises up the valley we don't allow any amplified music or loud reveling, as this would disturb our other guests. We really do enforce this and we once had to ask a whole group to leave after one night! We hope this doesn’t sound too draconian, but it is important both for you and for us (as well as the wild life and neighbours on the hill) to understand exactly what Hidden Valley Yurts is all about. Which is essentially a peaceful holiday where everyone has respect for others and the environment.

We’ve had lots of really lovely groups of adults of all ages camping at Hidden Valley Yurts, but we don’t want to have to act like a school prefect on Friday and Saturday nights and we don't want to let our other guests down who have come with the holiday expectations we advertise and we sincerely wish to provide for them.
