Local Produce

Meadow Farm - Farm Shop, Market Garden and Box Delivery Service.

The Farm Shop has our range of home produce - from the Kingstone Ales to freshly baked breads and seasonal condiments. We also carefully source other produce including artisan cheeses, stone ground flours for bread making, locally pressed apple juices, ciders and wholefoods.

Fishing

Grange Springs is set in the beautiful Wye Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty, with the Royal Forest of Dean bordering one side and the gently rolling hills and valleys of South Wales on the other.

Canoeing

The Wye can be canoed throughout the year from the tiny village of Glasbury above historic Hay down to the castle town of Chepstow where the river flows into the Bristol Channel, a total of 100 miles in all.

High Wire Forest Adventure

Go Ape is an award-winning high wire forest adventure course of rope bridges, Tarzan Swings and zip slides up to 40 feet up in the trees. Appealing to a wide age range, customers are fitted with a climbing harness, given instructions, and then trek from tree to tree high above the forest floor.

Wye Valley Mountain Biking

From our Monmouth base we can ride straight into the breathtaking Forest of Dean or follow the River Wye through the stunning Wye Valley towards Chepstow.

Both the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean offer superb biking, including tough climbs and long descents, miles of single track, as well as more family-friendly gentle trails.  Our guides have unrivalled local knowledge of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean and can provide you with a memorable visit as well as give you a feel for the area's natural history, landscape and culture.

Cycle Hire

Situated in the centre of the Forest of Dean, adjacent to the way-marked Cycle Trail of 12 miles, Pedalabikeaway provide a range of modest cycles for the less adventurous cyclist to experience a casual cycling encounter on safe traffic free hard stoned forest tracks or on the special Cycle Trail.

Dewstow Gardens

Imagine discovering a lost garden with tunnels and underground grottoes buried under thousands of tons of soil for over 50 years.

The gardens had been buried around the 1940s and 50s and after excavation, although some areas were in very poor condition, other parts remained as good as the day the gardens were built. Most of the repairs have now been completed during a massive restoration operation which began in 2000.

Black Down Yurts

Tucked away in a tranquil valley amidst the rolling fields and leafy woodlands of the Blackdown Hills in Devon, our yurts offer a haven from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Set within 30 acres on our smallholding, each yurt is tucked away in its own secluded spot, with plenty of space to explore and unwind.

Great Gutton Farm

Our Yurt is a traditional handcrafted Mongolian Yurt following Mongolian and Kazakh designs. It stands alone in its own field under a mature oak tree complete with swing.

The Yurt is extremely private and cannot be seen from the house or road. It is large, 6 metres across and is richly decorated in traditional style a full double bed ready made up ready for you with a further double futon for sitting or to sleep two more people. There is a kitchen area with a two ring gas stove with grill. A full range of cooking utensils is supplied together with crockery and cutlery.
